World's Highest Building On Dubai

DUBAI - Dubai's economic slowdown could hit will inaugurate the opening of the tallest skyscraper in the world, Monday (4/1/2010). The building is expected to improve the image of Dubai that had tarnished because of debt problems.

Emaar, a large property company partially held by the government ownership, as well as those who build these skyscrapers, is still reluctant to say exactly the height of the Burj Dubai building.


The company would only stated that the skyscraper was higher than 800 m, much higher than the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan as high as 508 m.

This building has 57 elevators for the purposes of the residents, apartment 1044, and has 49 floors of offices, hotels, and also bearing the Giorgio Armani logo.

Construction of this building began in 2004 and has cost around 1 billion U.S. dollars.
